This project is about expressing our wishes in a simple and short way. We are a big group and our students have come up with many wishes.
The steps or stages followed to do this project have been the following:
-Firstly, a brainstorming for choosing the topic.
-Secondly, heterogenous groups have been made according to their English levels.
- Thirdly, participant roles within the groups have been assigned (reporter, resource monitor, captain)
-Fourthly, wishes are translated into English with my help because they are still very young
-Fifthly, a template is choosen for genially and messages are typed on it. We use the main computer that is projected with the interactive board and the whole class can see what is going on at each moment. Each student type their wish and insert with my help a picture related to their wishes
-Sixtly, a background song is chosen. They see how I do it and they are surprised of the result.
After many previous view to check everything is ok, the project comes to its end. We click ready and share with their families. Then, the reporters of each grop come to the IWB and reveal the wishes of their group members.
Pupils have enjoyed a lot using genially but it is still difficult for them. They are seven years old and both their linguistic and digital competence are very low. However, they have learn very much.
We have made just a genially because we have just my computer in class and as I already mentioned they are still very young. Besides, it has taken a week to finish it. However, a very nice experience.
